8/29/2008 Salmon Fishing is very very good right now. Fish seem to be setting up the 110-150 foot range, but don't be afraid to set up in the early morning right out in front of the pier heads in Holland and Saugatuck. As soon as the sun comes up pull lines and head out into the deeper water. 10" White E-Chip flashers seem to be working well with Mirage or Liquid Sunshine fly seems to be catching lots of fish. Also try large white coyotes with an oceana fly behind it. As soon as the fish start hitting the pier heads its time for j-plugs come in and stock up while all the popular colors are in stock. stop here-->
